Power Flow Offering Pre-Production Savings For Aviat Husky

Tuned Exhaust System Expected To Be STCed This Summer

Power Flow has developed a tuned exhaust system for the 180 hp Aviat Husky and expects FAA STC approval by this summer. They have already received 26 orders for the product and are offering special pricing for Husky owners who purchase a system before July 31.

The company says that if 30 owners commit to purchase tuned exhausts they will receive a $500 pre-production discount. If orders reach 40 the discount increases to $625 and if they go over 50 the price for production units will be reduced by $715.

The product has already been tested and performance results have been confirmed, according to Power Flow. With a tuned exhaust system in place, the Husky gains 5 mph in cruise or saves 1.2 gph of fuel at the original cruise settings. Rate of climb from 1000-4000 feet increases 5.6 percent. From 4000-9000 feet, it increased 7.8 percent, and at higher altitudes ... from 9000-11,500 feet ... it accelerates to 13.4 percent. Service ceiling for the Husky increases by at least 2,000 feet, and the cabin heat is significantly increased.

Power Flow expects to begin production of the Husky systems in August. The company has been so successful with their tuned exhaust systems that they offer a 60-day trial with a no-questions-asked, full refund return policy that covers shipping, along with a 1 year/500 hour warranty.
