Daher Appoints Denmark Service Provider

First TBM Sold in Country Brings About First In-Network Maintainer

Daher has appointed its first Scandinavian service center after the first TBM 940 was delivered to Denmark.

The new owner of the aircraft will be able to avail themselves of the services of Uni-Fly A/S, found in the Hans Christian Andersen Airport near the city of Odense. The company is an EASA Part 145 maintenance organization that has been in operation since 1970. The bulk of their work lies in nearby helicopter flight services, supporting nearby geological and scientific expeditions in Denmark and Greenland. As the scope of local missions has grown, so has the workload for Uni-Fly, increasingly faced with maintaining the aircraft responsible for repairing wind turbines, transport to offshore installations, pipeline survey, and power line placement and assessment. Despite their rotary aircraft focus, the company stands ready for any Daher that comes through the door.

“With growing interest in Scandinavia for the TBM – based on its efficiency, range and performance – it is important to ensure Daher’s top-rated support and services are available in this region,” explained Nicolas Chabbert, the senior vice president of Daher’s aircraft division. “Our partnership with Uni-Fly A/S will be a true asset in supporting TBM customers and operators in Northern Europe.”

“We are proud to join Daher’s service center Network, and our entire team is committed to providing the best levels of maintenance services for TBM owners and operators,” stated Per Leth Andersen, the newly appointed maintenance manager for TBM aircraft at Uni-Fly A/S.
