In the three-month period of April, May and June 2014, total worldwide business and general aviation avionics sales amounted to just over $652 million dollars.

The figure represented a 2.7 percent increase in sales compared to the second-quarter 2013 as reported a year ago by the participating companies. The amount of sales also marked a slight uptick in total sales from the first three months of the year, as first-quarter sales amounted to more than $651 million. Carter Aviation Technologies, which has been working to build a prototype of its Personal Air Vehicle (PAV) is looking for investors after its initial supporter pulled out of the licensing agreement that was funding development of the aircraft. Two private planes that once belonged to Elvis Presley which have been on display at Graceland in Memphis for 30 years are now being displayed in aviation classified ads ... and that's making Elvis fans none too happy. All this... and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
