Atlantic Opens FBO Location In Kalispell, Montana

Flathead Valley Airport Serves As Gateway To Glacier Nat’l Park

Atlantic Aviation announced it has expanded its FBO network to 106 locations nationwide with its first in Montana at Glacier Park International Airport (KGPI) in Kalispell, located in the Flathead Valley and serving as the gateway to Glacier National Park and the year-round recreation activities in northwestern Montana.

Atlantic grew its network by acquiring  the Glacier Jet Center, the venerable FBO providing aircraft and passenger services on the field for almost fifty years.

Jeff Foland, Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Aviation said, "We are extremely proud to now be operating in Montana. Not only is it one of the most beautiful states in the nation, it’s also an extremely welcoming region for general and business aviation.

“Glacier Jet Center has superbly served Kalispell and the surrounding area for nearly 50 years – and created a legacy of strong relationships and dedicated personal service that is in perfect alignment with our values at Atlantic Aviation. We’re excited to continue this longstanding heritage as we integrate with our new team members at GPI, and in the local community.”

Bobby Femia, Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions for Atlantic Aviation said, “GPI is not only a gateway to Glacier National Park, but also home to the vibrant Whitefish community - a destination known for its hospitality, outdoor recreation, and strong sense of community and culture. We’re proud to bring Atlantic’s quality service offering to the Big Sky State and look forward to becoming a trusted partner to both aviators and the local community.”

The facility began operating as Atlantic Aviation on September 1, with Atlantic Awards benefits available to flight crews as the transition to Atlantic branding commences on the terminal, lobby, hangars, and fuel trucks. The FBO also boasts a full range of aircraft services as well as multiple heated hangars, a fuel farm with 137,000 gallons of Jet-A and 24,000 gallons of 100LL avgas.

Rob Ratkowski, Director of Glacier Park International Airport said, "Glacier Park International Airport is pleased to welcome Atlantic Aviation to our airport community. For years, Glacier Jet Center has done an excellent job providing first-class service to our general aviation customers. Atlantic Aviation is uniquely suited to continue that tradition, and we look forward to having them here."

With GPI’s proximity to some of the country’s most well-known national parks, recreation activities, wilderness areas, and Kalispell’s economic influence in the region, GPI stands to continue as one of the busiest and fastest growing airports in the state.
