BLECCH!!! Rats Found In Airline Food Warehouse

Make Mine Water... Oh, Wait...

An airline food warehouse in Chicago remained closed Wednesday after city inspectors found evidence of a massive rat infestation.

Gate Gourmet's storage warehouse was shut down earlier this week after inspectors found hundreds of rat droppings. The facility is used to stockpile chips, pretzels, soft drinks and beer. It's located at O'Hare International Airport.

Not only that, but the Chicago Department of Revenue said Gate Gourmet was operating without a license.

So, for our part, we'll have the water please. Er, bottled. After all, you never know what you'll find in the H20 aboard a commercial flight these days.

Gate Gourmet recently moved its headquarters from Zurich to Reston, VA. The company employs 22,000 people in 30 countries on five continents.
