Aero-TV: More ForeFlight Updates -- Putting 5 Pounds Into A 2-Pound Bag

A Visit With ForeFlight Yields News About Added Features And Capabilities

While at the 2013 NBAA convention, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell stopped by the ForeFlight booth to see what’s going on.

ForeFlight is a serious gorilla when it comes to tablet aviation programs, and Jim asked the question, what’s new? ForeFlight director of marketing, Angela Andersen, said they come to these events to learn from the people that stop by to talk with them. She said this year is no different, and they have new features because of customer input.

For pilots, ForeFlight has added the Plate map feature that allows approach plates to be overlaid on charts. The capabilities of the of the airport directory have also been enhanced to allow directory listings to be customized. Airport operators and businesses on airports can now add features such as logos, photographs and other things that make the directory listings more informative and more interesting to view. This video shows lots of other features that you will not want to miss.
