NTSB To Unveil 2016 Most Wanted List In January

Annual Roadmap For Improving Transportation Safety, Including Aviation

The NTSB will unveil its 2016 Most Wanted List of transportation safety improvements at a press conference on January 13, 2016. Over the next year, the NTSB will bring additional focus to the transportation safety issues on the list.

“The multi-modal Most Wanted List is an annual roadmap to assist in improving transportation safety,” said NTSB Chairman Christopher A. Hart. "The issues on the list are, by definition, among the most challenging transportation safety issues, and we hope that focusing more attention on them will encourage industry and government agencies to take action that will help move the needle.”

The Most Wanted List announcement will come during the 95th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board, an organization that is important to the development of transportation safety technology. Additional details on the January 13 announcement will be released closer to the date of the event.
