Location: Lime Village, Alaska Accident Number: ANC24LA087
Date & Time: August 31, 2024, 12:40 Local Registration: N1217E
Aircraft: Bellanca 8GCBC Aircraft Damage: Substantial
Defining Event: Nose over/nose down Injuries: 1 None
Flight Conducted Under: Part 91: General aviation - Personal

Analysis: The pilot reported that, while landing at a remote, rough and uneven airstrip in a tailwheel-equipped airplane, he encountered several strong gusts of wind from the left, which pushed the airplane to the right.
