NBAA HPN Regional Forum Imminent

Event to Address Key Business Aircraft Industry Issues

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced that its upcoming White Plains Regional Forum will feature more than two-dozen of the newest aircraft on the contemporary market, upwards of 170 exhibitors, and a comprehensive agenda germane to the future of the business aircraft industry.

The event will convene current and prospective business aircraft owners, operators, manufacturers, customers, and additional parties essential to the industry at New York’s Westchester County Airport (HPN) on 14 June 2023.

The program will begin at 09:30 EDT with a keynote address by NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen, who will discuss the key legislative, regulatory, and operational issues with which the business aviation industry is currently faced.

The aircraft display and exhibit hangar, both of which are sold out, will be open from 09:00 to 16:00 EDT.

In addition to covering sustainability, aircraft operators attending the forum will have opportunity to purchase sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) using a book-and-claim (SAFC) transaction officiated by World Fuel Services. Aircraft operators participating in the scheme will purchase contract fuel at HPN Million Air and convert the associated purchase to book and claim through World Fuel Services, thereby contemporaneously facilitating reduced CO2 emissions and incentivizing production of SAF.

By virtue of SAFC programs, the reduction in emissions deriving of SAF is separated into a separate transaction from the actual fuel—which is subsequently sold as conventional Jet-A at the airport closest to production. The buyer, or operator, receives the credit for the emissions reduction of the renewable fuel. The demand for SAF demonstrated with book and claim helps encourage increased production, supply, and availability of Sustainable Aviation Fuels.

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is a Washington D.C.-based non-profit organization founded in 1947 for purpose of fostering an environment conducive to business aviation’s success both in the United States and around the world.
