Executive AirShare Names John Owen Chief Financial Officer

Comes To The Company From An Executive Search Firm

John Owen has joined Executive AirShare as chief financial officer. The Kansas City native brings to the position a strong background of a consultant and previous corporate CFO.

Owen, a graduate of the University of Kansas and the University of Missouri-Kansas City, comes to Executive AirShare from EFL Associates, where he served as vice president for the national executive search firm. He previously was CFO for OrTran, a supply chain management company.

“John brings a wealth of experience, not only as a CFO, but of the markets we serve,” says Keith Plumb, Executive AirShare’s president and CEO. “Through his financial leadership in previous positions, he developed excellent business relationships with banks and identified additional revenue streams for companies. John’s strategic financial management is exactly what Executive AirShare needs to oversee and continue our growth trajectory.”

Prior to his position at OrTran, Owen worked as principal for Capitus Group, a Leawood, Kan.-based consulting firm, where he developed detailed financial packages, business valuations and analyses for clients.Owen originally fine-tuned his consultative skills and financial acumen working in progressively higher roles at State Street, Accenture and KPMG.

“Through my professional experiences I’ve been fortunate to be able to see a vast array of companies from a number of different vantage points,” Owen says. “Either as a consultant or an internal leader, I have learned what these companies do well, and accurately assess their strengths. I consider it a privilege to join Executive AirShare at a time when the company is capitalizing on its record of customer service and value to prudently increase its base of shareowners.”
