The 1-hour Airship inflation took place inside the Garrett Coliseum, one of the few facilities large enough to host the operation.  With the inflation, the mission is to complete pre-flight engineering fit checks for attachments in preparation for the Company's near term maiden flight of the Bullet Class 580 at NASA's Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California.

"We are quite excited that all the systems are matching up well for the 580,000 cubic-foot Airship. It is amazing that a ship this large can be transported in two 40-foot containers anywhere on the planet," stated John Youngbeck, Vice President of Manufacturing.

The 235-foot long, 65-foot diameter Bullet Class 580 is designed to carry payloads of up to 2,000 pounds, maintain altitudes of up to 20,000 feet above sea level, and achieve a dash speed of 74 knots with cruising speeds of 40 knots.
