Yuma Airshow 2021 Postponed Due To COVID Issues

Massive Military Demo Roster Was Planned

The message on Facebook said it all... "In the interest of public safety, we have elected to cancel the 2021 Yuma Airshow. We will shift our planning efforts to our 2022 airshow in order to provide the best show possible. We will see you all on March 12, 2022!"

Per the CO of MCAS Yuma, and due to the COVID-19 concerns and safety of the public, MCAS Yuma cancelled the entire Airshow (both days) to both the general public and those who have purchased tickets.

Full refunds will be issued from the ticketing site starting on March 16th, 2020 to those who have purchased upgraded seating and upgraded parking. Any additional questions, are to be forwarded to the CommStrat office MCAS Yuma.

MCAS Yuma added that, "We are saddened that we have to cancel our favorite event of the year, but want to reiterate that safety is our number one priority."

It should have been a great show with an extensive listing of military and civilian performers, including Jay Stokes & Cheryl Stearns Skydiving, USMC Demos of the AH-1, AV-8, CH-53, F-5, F-35, MV-22, UH-1; a USMC VMA-311 AV-8B Level II Demo; USMC F-35B Demo; USMC MV-22B Demo; USN F/A-18E Demo; USMC F-5N Demo; and a USAF F-35A Demo & P-51D Heritage Flight. The Yuma Airshow has attracted visitors from across the nation and the globe, often drawing crowds of more than 18,000 spectators. We look forward to seeing what they field for 2022...
