Terrafugia Taps Alex Min As Chief Marketing And Sales Officer

Former Military Pilot Has Been Involved With The Project Since The Beginning

Terrafugia has appointed Alex Min as their new Chief Marketing and Sales Officer. Min brings proven business acumen in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with domestic and international partners, forecasting and securing sales, creating and managing cross-functional teams, and developing and implementing market-expansion strategies in both aviation and emerging technology enterprises.

An FAA-Certificated Helicopter and Fixed-Wing Pilot with Commercial and Instrument ratings, Min served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) for a decade as an Officer and pilot.  Most recently the Vice President of Business Development at Textron Defense Systems, Min brings over 20 years of extensive leadership, management, and aerospace industry expertise to the management team at Terrafugia.

"Alex's impressive background in aerospace business development brings an exciting new perspective to the Terrafugia executive team.  He will help prepare our company for the incredible growth we anticipate over the next few years, and he will be a big part of catalyzing that change," said Carl Dietrich, CEO/CTO

Min was the top graduate for his Naval Flight School class at Pensacola, Florida and the recipient of the Patrick McGovern, Jr. '59 Award for Entrepreneurship for his MBA class at MIT Sloan. At MIT, Min was one of five original Co-Founders of Terrafugia, and has served as Corporate Advisor and as a member of Terrafugia's Board of Directors since the company's inception in 2006.

"Although I've been involved with Terrafugia in some way, shape, or form since we created the company, it is such an honor and pleasure to be joining the Terrafugia Team full-time at what I believe to be a pivotal point in the company.  Terrafugia has already created two vehicles that have both flown and driven down regular surface streets.  We're at the cusp of being able to deliver the world's first production 'flying car,' and it's exciting to be a part of the team that is going to make this happen!" said Min.
