WACO Classic Aircraft Under New Ownership

Battle Creek, MI Biplane Manufacturer To Continue On

WACO Classic Aircraft Corporation and Centennial Aircraft Services, Inc. recently announced a new owner and management team headed by Peter F. Bowers of Kalamazoo, MI.

Bowers has a broad manufacturing background. Some of his future plans for the company include investing in expansion of the current restoration and maintenance services offered for vintage and historic planes. Bowers says he is committed to supporting the current customers of the company, as well as broadening services to better meet the needs of the aviation community.

Company officials tell ANN the new management team will continue to build upon a long history of traditional aircraft manufacturing, professional service and support of WACO aircraft and other vintage and historic planes, as well as maintenance and services for general aviation piston engine aircraft.

WACO Classic Aircraft Corporation of Battle Creek, MI is the world’s only manufacturer of new FAA certified 1930s-era classic biplanes, and currently produces the WACO YMF-5 Super.

Centennial Aircraft Services, Inc., is a full service FBO and FAA Certified Repair station featuring a fully equipped avionics shop.
