Company Realigns Management Team
FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd. has promoted Matt Bradley to the position of president effective January 31, 2014. This realignment will allow Bill Tempany, FLYHT’s current chief executive officer and former president, to focus on FLYHT’s public market participation and broader business initiatives. Mr. Tempany will remain on the Board of Directors.

“The Board of Directors at FLYHT would like to recognize Bill for his leadership over the past eleven years as CEO and two years as president. Mr. Tempany will continue to lead the company as a member of the board, and CEO,” remarked Doug Marlin, chairman of the FLYHT board. “Mr. Bradley (pictured) is an excellent candidate for president based on his expertise in the industry and leadership at FLYHT for the past half-decade.”
Mr. Bradley (pictured) has been an integral part of FLYHT’s management team for over five years. Mr. Bradley acted as FLYHT’s VP operations from 2008 to 2010 and for the past four years has been FLYHT’s VP of business development, leading the corporation’s international team. In total, he has over 25 years experience in the industry as a CF18 Fighter pilot with the Canadian Air Force, a commercial captain and CheckPilot on the Airbus A330 and A320 aircraft and an aviation consultant prior to joining the FLYHT team.
Additionally, FLYHT has reassigned Derek Graham to the role of chief technical officer (he was previously engaged as FLYHT’s chief operating officer). This move was made to ensure the steady flow of quality products for FLYHT’s customers. Mr. Graham has more than 10 years of combined aeronautical satellite product development and management experience and brings extensive depth and leadership to the FLYHT team.
Lastly, FLYHT has reassigned Jeff Brunner to the role of VP certification engineering and China operations (he was previously engaged as FLYHT’s VP operations.) In his new role he will be responsible for the leadership of the airworthiness certification team and for the delivery of products and services into the China market. Mr. Brunner is a professional engineer with over 18 years in the industry and has been with the corporation for the past nine years. He led the initiative to have FLYHT certified by Transport Canada as a Design Approval Organization (“DAO”).
The FLYHT Board of Directors approved the realignment to recognize the results that the team has delivered over the last year as well to prepare the company for upcoming growth. FLYHT will recruit more senior sales staff to augment its sales efforts and support Mr. Bradley in his new role.
