Embraer-CAE Training Services To launch Phenom 100 And 300 Training In Amsterdam

Training Will Be Conducted In CAE Full Flight Simulators

Embraer-CAE Training Services (ECTS), a joint venture between Embraer and CAE, announced at the 2016 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) that it will further expand its training programs for Embraer Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 pilots and maintenance technicians through the addition of a new location at CAE's training center in Amsterdam.

The training program will feature a CAE-built full-flight simulator (FFS), equipped with a Garmin Prodigy-Touch avionics system, and is expected to be ready for training in the first quarter of 2018.

"This addition to our services network reflects the growing number of operators in Europe and our commitment to delivering world-class training to our customers close to home," said Marco Tulio Pellegrini, President & CEO Embraer Executive Jets. "Our training program is based on a highly personalized level of service and Amsterdam is a convenient city that will provide our European Phenom jets operators the customer experience that is the cornerstone of our program."

The suitability of the Phenom jets fulfills all of business aviation's requirements, such as fractional ownership, charter, owner-pilot, corporate use, pilot training or employee shuttle. As of today, a fleet of more than 650 Phenom jets is currently in operation worldwide. Since 2010, the Phenom 300 has also accumulated the most deliveries in its class and for the past three years has been the most delivered business jet in the world.

"We are delighted to expand our relationship with Embraer and leverage CAE's worldwide training footprint," said Nick Leontidis, Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. "The launch of this additional Phenom 100 and 300 jet training program is a testament to CAE and Embraer's true partnership approach."

The new ECTS training in Amsterdam complements existing training locations in Dallas, Texas in the United States, and São Paulo in Brazil.
