Textron Aviation Now Provides Starlink Internet Installations

Service Centers Utilizing AeroMech’s STC For King Air And Citation Models

Textron Aviation announced at the NBAA-BACE that its Service Centers for Beechcraft King Air B200/300 and Cessna Citation 560XL series aircraft will provide installations of Starlink high-speed satellite internet.

The announcement came after the FAA approved a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for AeroMech’s to install the internet connectivity solution which utilizes Starlink’s constellation of Low-Earth-Orbit satellites. The system provides reliable connectivity over land, water, and remote areas where other inflight WiFI may not have service.

Beechcraft, Cessna, and Hawker owners/operators can get factory-direct service support, maintenance, and modifications through Textron Aviation’s global network of service and parts centers.

"Offering Starlink for the Beechcraft King Air B200/B300 including popular King Air 250, 260, 350, 350i and 360 models and for the Cessna Citation Excel, XLS, XLS+ and XLS Gen2 positions our customers to experience one of the best possible in-flight connectivity and aviation experiences available today.”

Customers can schedule the upgrade for installation at North American Textron Aviation Service Centers and select International Service Centers. AeroMech’s STC utilizes the Starlink “stand alone” system consisting of an antenna, power supply, and router, requiring only power input from the aircraft.
