StandardAero Certifies Rockwell Collins SVS On Falcon 2000

Also Completes Full ProLine 21 Upgrade

StandardAero recently completed and certified its first Rockwell Collins Synthetic Vision System (SVS) installation on a Falcon 2000 aircraft.

In addition to SVS, StandardAero completed a full Rockwell Collins Pro Line 4 to Pro Line 21 modification, which was the company’s 14th Pro Line 4 to Pro Line 21 installation, representing more modifications than any other service provider in the industry. Installation of the Pro Line 4 to Pro Line 21 solution replaces obsolete cathode ray tube technology with an adaptive flight display technology. This upgrade provides increased situational awareness, enhances cockpit functionality and is a prerequisite upgrade for FANS-1/A capabilities on Falcon 2000 aircraft.

During the aircraft modification process, StandardAero also installed a complete Honeywell Ovation Cabin Management System, custom painted the aircraft, installed a new interior and performed a 3C inspection. All services were provided at the company’s Springfield, Illinois MRO facility.

“The overall work scope of this project has literally transformed this aircraft with the latest technologies and upgrades. Our technicians have worked from nose-to-tail to make this beautiful machine like brand new. About the only thing we didn’t work on was the engines – but we have full capabilities to service them too, “said Marc McGowan, President of StandardAero Business Aviation.
