Velocity Network Acquires Havasu Air Center

Tallvine-Backed FBO Group Strengthening Growth In North America

Velocity FBO Network, backed by Tallvine Partners in Miami, Florida, announced it has acquired Havasu Air Center, the long-time FBO operator at Lake Havasu City Airport (KHII) in Arizona and the fourth facility acquired by the fledgling group. The sellers will keep their aircraft management segment as well as Northstar Aviation Services, its aircraft maintenance business.

Dante Martinelli, Havasu Air Center co-founder, will continue to support the FBO as an advisor to Velocity. He said, “Building Havasu Air Center has been one of the great privileges of my career, and I’m excited to see it enter its next chapter as part of the Velocity FBO Network. I look forward to remaining involved as an advisor, helping the team uphold the customer-first culture our community and customers have come to expect.”

Havasu Air Center is a full-service FBO that has served as an important hub for the aviation community in the region. It has provided support to general aviation pilots, aircraft owners, and operators as well as crucial services to military aircraft. The FBO has fostered growth, connectivity, and operational excellence.

Chad Farishon, CEO of Velocity FBO Network said, “Velocity was founded on a commitment to excellence, delivering a consistent standard of quality and exceptional experiences across our entire network. Havasu Air Center has built a reputation for outstanding service and operational safety, and we are committed to honoring that legacy while bringing our broader platform’s resources to bear.”

Ed Zwirn, Operating Director at Tallvine added, “The acquisition of Havasu Air Center represents the fourth location in our growing network. We are executing on a focused strategy to build a best-in-class platform, and Lake Havasu is a natural fit.”
