Friends of Meigs Seeks Friends at Oshkosh

If You Can Volunteer Then, Sign Up Now

The Friends of Meigs Field will be hosting a tent at the upcoming Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture convention in Oshkosh (WI), July 29-August 4.

The tent is being donated at show center near Aeroshell Square, courtesy of the EAA.

Friends of Meigs Field are seeking volunteers to help staff the tent, where they need grassroots contacts to local, state, and federal decision makers, asking them to reopen Meigs Field.

In their own words:

Bonus: We have a LIMITED(!!!)  number of (air-conditioned!) hotel beds available for volunteers staying overnight. Let us know, and we'll see if we can help put you up.

If you can spare a half day at the world's busiest air show, please drop us a line.

Contact: volunteers@friendsofmeigs.org
