SportPlane Manufacturers: Time to Step Up and Send Your Info

Third-Edition Resource Guide is Getting Ready… But It’s Waiting on You

The third edition of the SportPlane Resource Guide—soon to launch as the expanded, fully digital eSPRG—is almost ready for release.

The layout is there, dozens of instructional chapters are written, and hundreds of aircraft write-ups are complete. This edition will be bigger, more detailed, and easier to update than the previous 1,100-page print version (probably settling in at more than 2000 pages!), with the potential to far exceed even our own anticipations with S-LSA, E-LSA, ultralights, avionics, and accessories. The only major thing slowing it down is one simple piece: more data from manufacturers.

The Aero-News Network team has done everything we can to make the process as painless as possible. Two quick online forms—one for your company and another for each of your aircraft—are now LIVE at www.sportplane.com. They’re free to submit, take only minutes to complete, and guarantee your products an accurate showing in the most comprehensive sport aviation reference on the market.

If your company builds, imports, or supports sport aircraft and you haven’t yet submitted your information, our editors are asking (kindly, of course) that you do so now. As we previously said, this thing is already upwards of a thousand pages… and counting. So, though we won’t be too butt-hurt if a couple manufacturers get left out, potential customers sure could be. Past editions have directly helped sell airplanes, engines, and gear… sitting on the sideline only ensures your competitors get the visibility you don’t.

Plus, if you believe in what you sell, there’s no reason for concern. The eSPRG upholds the Aero-News Network reputation of honesty, with the same direct style that has made the guide a trusted industry reference. High-quality, well-supported aircraft will get the attention they deserve, and overpriced, underbuilt, or poorly documented models won’t be glossed over.

So if you’re a sport aircraft manufacturer, importer, or supplier, please don’t wait for another reminder. Go to www.sportplane.com, fill out the forms, and secure your place in the eSPRG. The sooner the data comes in, the sooner the first sections can go live—and the sooner your customers can find you.
