Universal Avionics Presents AEA2018 Training Workshop

Will Introduce Company's New InSight Web-Based Configuration Tool

Universal Avionics invites Authorized Dealers to join its training session during the AEA’s 2018 International Convention and Trade Show. The workshop covers the External Configuration Editor (ECE), a new web-based dealer configuration tool for the InSight Display System. Interested attendees are welcome to fill a seat in Room 122 of the MGM Grand Convention Center on Tuesday, March 27th at 9:30am (PDT).

Ric Miller, Universal Avionics Manager of Technical and Field Support, will walk workshop participants through the following ECE configuration processes:

  • Creating a new configuration
  • Sharing configurations across company
  • Importing configuration files
  • Editing existing configurations
  • Restoring from Snapshot Exporting for upload into the aircraft

As a cloud-based application, the ECE provides installers the ability to design the configuration from the convenience of a personal computer and share configurations across their organization. Built-in collaboration tools help to streamline workflow among installers. The ECE makes the pre-design and system configuration process simple and intuitive.

Universal Avionics Authorized Dealers are encouraged to attend the workshop. Additionally, be sure to schedule time to visit Universal Avionics booth number 411 during AEA2018 exhibit hours on March 27th and March 28th.
