AEM Debuts Panel-Mount Bluetooth Audio Accessory

Audiophiles Unite

Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada-based Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing Corp. (AEM) has debuted a new panel-mount Bluetooth Audio Accessory dubbed the BAA01-001. Subject device is designed to add Bluetooth connectivity to existing avionics, audio, PA, or loudspeaker systems.

AEM’s BAA01-001 supports discrete phone calls and music audio by way of built-in Bluetooth audio profiles. An integrated front-panel LED annunciator displays system power, pairing, and link status. The unit allows operators to easily adjust control and volume of Bluetooth music and call audio playback using the BAA01-001’s built-in front-panel rotary encoder.

Designed with operators in mind, the BAA01-001 features two Bluetooth connections, two front-panel Type-C USB connections for charging, and a rear-pin dedicated USB out—including shared 7-Amp USB current.

AEM director of sales and marketing Tony Weller, stated: “The BAA01-001 helps operators of any kind securely connect their phones, or other Bluetooth devices, to existing aircraft audio and avionics equipment. Our intention with this product is to help integrators improve the experience for operators with such a flexible and easy-to-install unit.”

The BAA01-001 is on the shelf and available to order and ship immediately. Interested parties are invited to contact AEM directly.
