The Blackhawk Group announced its Blackhawk Performance Center at Rocky Mountain Metro Airport (KBJC) in Broomfield, Colorado, has received FAA Part 145 Repair Station Certification.

The facility joins Blackhawk’s Columbia, Missouri, Performance Center as service locations for light turbine aircraft. Other Blackhawk Performance Center locations include two Avex Performance Centers in Camaraillo, California, and also at KBJC in Broomfield, which provide services for TBM operators.

The certification enables Blackhawk Performance Centers to offer a full range of services including:

  • Full-Service MRO – Complete maintenance and support for King Air models
  • Avionics Solutions – Certified dealer for Garmin, Collins, Gogo, and AirText sales, installation, and support for King Air and Citation models
  • Experience – Average technician has 15+ years of experience on PT6 powered aircraft and avionics techs who have installed more than 30 Garmin G1000/G5000

Beau Hawkins, Sales Director for Blackhawk Performance Centers commented, "Receiving the FAA Part 145 Repair Station Certification is a testament to our unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and excellence in the aerospace industry. With this certification in hand, we stand ready and excited to support the broad needs of turboprop and light jet aircraft owners and operators."

Bob O’Connor, Director of Engine Programs, who has been supporting PT6 clients for over 30 years added, “Our expertise with the PT6 engine spans decades to benefit our clients during overhaul, repair, and hot sections. We leverage our technology to ensure every engine is operating at peak performance through engine vibration technology, oil analysis, and engine performance data.”
