Diebold COO in Bonanza Crash

Both Aboard Killed in Takeoff Accident

Wesley Vance, 45, of Canton (OH) and his passenger, 49-year-old Gary Jacobs of Greensboro (NC), were killed Saturday when the Bonanza Vance was piloting apparently lost power on takeoff.

Vance was the Chief Operating Officer of Diebold Incorporated.

From what airport folk say, the A-36 was practicing landings that day.
