AEA Debuts New Publication At EAA Airventure: Pilot's Guide To Avionics

This Could Be the Best "Freebie" at Oshkosh 2003!

AEA is debuting a new publication for pilots at EAA AirVenture 2003 in Oshkosh, Wis., July 29 through August 4.

The Pilot's Guide to Avionics is a comprehensive, four-color guide that will feature numerous articles aimed to help pilots make better buying decisions in the field of avionics. The colorful, spiral bound guide will be an annual publication, and will also include a detailed section of technical descriptions of avionics, and a directory of government-certified avionics and instrument shops.

This FREE guide will be the information source for pilots everywhere, and will be distributed first at EAA's Airventure, followed by the NBAA Trade Show, AOPA Expo, Helicopter Association International Expo, Women in Aviation Conference, the AEA Convention and Trade Show and all AEA meetings. It will also be circulated to numerous flying clubs.

ANN Has One of the VERY First Copies

AEA was kind enough to air-ship a copy to ANN's Jim Campbell (currently goofing off in Oshkosh and trying to con everyone into thinking he's working) and he was impressed.

"They crammed a LOT of info in this thing. The layout is striking, and the way that they present information is both logical as well as easy to follow. There are some VERY good articles in here... everything from 'How to Choose a Headset,' to 'Safeguarding Your Avionics.' There are also a number of really useful directories (Avionics manufacturers, Distributors, Repair Stations and MUCH more...), that I've already used twice since I received my copy."

"With all the MANY things that will be competing for your attention at EAA Airventure 2003, I strongly suggest you all take a hike to AEA's booth and pick one of these puppies up. Mind you; this is the kind of work we expect from AEA... these folks set their bar high and we applaud such intensive and useful efforts. Besides; ya gotta love the price!"
