StandardAero's UK Base Completes 500th PW300 Service

UK Base Hones Skills in Overhauling Bizjet Classic

StandardAero announced that its Gosport, UK facility has taken in its 500th Pratt & Whitney Canada PW300 for scheduled maintenance.

It's a small milestone but somewhat notable to get word out there that the 'newcomers', who started working on the type in 2009, have gotten the routine down pat. Gosport was added as a Pratt & Whitney Designated Overhaul Facility back then, and that slice of the pie has fed StandardAero's British operations quite well in the years since. The PW300 continues to be a fave across a number of corporate jets, with a deep parts supply and long history backing constant uptime. That uptime comes with maintenance, though, as any operator knows.

“We are very proud of the Gosport team’s milestone achievement of 500 PW300 ESP service events,” said Tony Brancato, President of StandardAero Business Aviation.  “This accomplishment underscores the trust that our customers have in StandardAero and our experienced team.” The firm employs about 400 people in the Gosport area, covering a raft of business, military, and rotary-wing aircraft. Across their corporate footprint, they've worked on the Pratt & Whitney PW300 and PW500s for 20 years now.

“The Gosport team serves customers from all over the EMEA region and beyond, and we appreciate that operators continue to turn to us for quality engine maintenance services that ensure the safety of their passengers and crew,” added Tom Rooke, Director of Engine at StandardAero Gosport.
