Paperless Cockpit Releases New E-Board XP3 EFB

Paperless Cockpit introduces its first all-in-one Electronic Flight Bag capable of displaying the complete approach chart without wasting valuable flight deck space.

Paperless Cockpit's E-Board XP3 is a superior option for those pilots needing to upgrade their EFBs and is a user-friendly option for operators making the transition to an Electronic Flight Bag for the first time. E-Board XP 3 packs powerful EFB functionality in a compact design with an added benefit - a cinematic display that presents the full view of an approach chart, so no valuable data is obscured.

Equipped with a powerful 1 GHz Transmeta Crusoe processor and 512 MB RAM, the E-Board XP3 zips through electronic charts, flight planning data, in-flight weather and performance software with sufficient room for Flight Plans, Checklists, FOM, MEL, SOP, OpSpecs, Electronic Manuals, Maintenance Logs and other flight-related information.
E-Board XP 3 features on-board 802.11b WiFi, Bluetooth, 10/100 Ethernet, 56K Modem, and GPRS to offer unrivaled connectivity. Two USB 2.0 ports, two FireWire ports and a PC Card slot provide limitless expansion capabilities.

Serving as both Class I and Class II EFBs, E-Board XP3 can be integrated with a portable GPS and on-board FMS, if needed, to obtain moving map functionality for improved situational awareness. Paperless Cockpit is an aviation information technology company founded by pilots with a vision to enhance flight operations.
