Stratus Financial to Partner with L3Harris Flight Academy

Knowledge is Power; Power is Expensive

Founded in 2020 by a group of Certified Flight and Ground Instructors for purpose of developing lending plans conducive to flight training, Stratus Financial announced on 31 March 2023 that it had partnered with L3Harris Technologies, the American technology concern, defense contractor, and information technology services provider.

By dint of the new alliance, Stratus sets out to provide equitable financial services and pilot-training-oriented lending products to clients of L3Harris’ Sanford, Florida Flight Academy—thereby helping academy enrollees achieve their dreams of becoming commercial pilots. The partnership affords the organizations opportunity to benefit from each other’s industry expertise and expand their respective services to broader audiences.

The dream of flying is an expensive one—particularly in the era of rampant inflation and runaway fuel costs resultant, primarily, of Biden-era fiscal, foreign, and energy policies. Even as airlines clamor for qualified aviators in the ostensibly baleful blast of a subjectively extant pilot shortage, the cost of pilot training continues to increase, sending dreams of air-carrier careers slipping, by degrees, beyond the purviews of young aspirants to tomorrow’s flight-decks.

The Stratus Financial-L3Harris Flight Academy partnership occasions a fortuitous confluence of world-class flight training and egalitarian lending plans. Eminently well-versed in the business of flight-training and the expenditures peculiar to such, Stratus Financial is uniquely well-positioned to offer L3Harris Flight Academy clients perspicacious advice, apposite guidance, and meaningful support as they pursue their dreams of flight.

In addition to benefiting current and future clients of L3Harris’ Sanford, Florida Flight Academy, the alignment of Stratus Financial and L3Harris safeguards the wellbeing of coming generations of air-travelers and advances the interests of the larger aviation industry.

The Stratus Financial website sets forth: “We believe in developing lending products that make sense for pilots at all stages of their careers. Our mission is simple: to help you get your wings as swiftly as possible.”

Stratus Financial further asserts: “What drives Stratus isn't just funding education; we believe it's financing your future—a future where more people can do what they love and make a difference.”
