That's Why They Call These, 'Preliminary' Reports

OK -- what's wrong with this? [We understand that mistakes have occasionally crept into these reports, when the writers are themselves chasing all over heck, listening to dozens of witnesses, on a holiday weekend, and just basically overworked.
