OMF Aircraft Expands Network of Distribution Centers

At a time when many aviation companies arc cutting back, it's always good to hear of one that's expanding. OMF Aircraft's Symphony aircraft are being sold through a network of six distribution centers strategically located throughout the United States. (A factory-direct sales representative serves Symphony fans in eastern Canada as well.)

"Pilots who see Symphony aircraft, and especially those who take a demo flight, are attracted to its sleek lines, utility, performance and comfort; and they want one of their very own. Our expanded distribution network will make owning a Symphony easier than ever," said Director of Sales and Marketing Bill Sprague. "In addition, the staff at these distribution centers will provide service to Symphony owners after the sale to keep their aircraft in top flying condition."

OMF's distribution network represents a growing family of aircraft. The two-place Symphony 160 received German LBA certification in August 2000, FAA certification in April 2001, and IFR certification, as well. The entire certification process was completed on time and oil budget.

In April 2003, OMF introduced the new four-place Symphony-4 (above) and announced that it is working to put a Theilert Centurion 1.7 Jet A/diesel engine into the Symphony 160 airframe to create the Symphony 135-TDI.
