Eclipse Aerospace Begins Demo Tour In Orlando, FL

Offering Potential Buyers An Opportunity To Fly The Eclipse 550 From February 8-11

Eclipse is coming to Orlando, FL, in a few short weeks and will have the Eclipse 550 twin-engine jet with them. The event will offer potential buyers the opportunity to see and fly what Eclipse describes as "the most technologically advanced light jet aircraft in general aviation."

The Eclipse Jet Experience involves spending time with an Eclipse representative who will teach potential buyers about the Eclipse jet and an Eclipse pilot who will help fly the aircraft. The first hour is an overview of the Eclipse Jet systems and avionics on the ground. Participants will learn how to operate the Avio IFMS, the fully integrated flight management system that comes standard with every Eclipse Jet. The advantages of this system towards reducing pilot workload and increasing the overall safety of flight will be demonstrated.

The second hour of the Eclipse Jet Experience consists of 45-50 minutes of flight time in the aircraft. While flying the Eclipse Jet, the potential buyer will sit in the pilot's seat and acquire a foundational understanding of the aircraft from a qualified Eclipse instructor pilot.

The cost for the Eclipse Jet Experience is $750 per flight (up to 3 people), which will be deducted from the aircraft purchase price. For those who are unable to make the Orlando event, several others are planned at these other Eclipse Jet Experience locations:

  • Reno, NV, Feb. 17-18
  • Salt Lake City, UT, Fe. 19-20
  • Scottsdale, AZ, Feb. 22-23
  • Las Vegas, NV, Feb. 24-26
  • Long Beach, CA Feb. 28-29
