L3Harris Flight Academy Students May Qualify For Tuition Reimbursement

SkyWest Pilot Pathway Program Partners With The Flight Academy To Offer Up To $15,000 To Cadets

L3Harris Technologies reveals the reinstatement of partial tuition reimbursement for prospective first officers in the SkyWest Airlines Pilot Pathway Program. Qualifying cadets will be able to claim up to $15,000 in tuition reimbursement from SkyWest Airlines.

L3Harris and SkyWest Airlines provide a direct path for pilots to launch their commercial pilot career. Enhanced seniority, access to pilot mentors, and a guaranteed final first officer interview with SkyWest are all part of the program. There are no flight hour requirements for L3 Harris students to join the SkyWest Pilot Pathway Program, and no commitment unless you utilize the tuition reimbursement.

“We are delighted that the SkyWest Airlines Pilot Pathway Program is offering tuition reimbursements to L3Harris students once again as the airline recruits best in class pilots to support the industry’s recovery,” says David Coward, VP and General Manager of Airline Academy at L3Harris Technologies.

“As 96% of our cadets that become CFIs go on to launch their careers via our Pathway Programs, the opportunity to be reimbursed for tuition will be extremely impactful. This program shows confidence in the commercial airline industry’s recovery, and we’re here to help more cadets follow their dreams to become commercial pilots.”

“We are excited to reinstate the SkyWest Pilot Pathway Program and tuition reimbursement at L3Harris as we continue the work of recruiting the industry’s best pilots,” said Tracy Gallo, SkyWest Airlines Senior Vice President Flight Operations. “We appreciate the partnership with L3Harris and look forward to helping more aviators achieve their dream to become a commercial pilot.”

L3Harris Flight Academy will be hosting Open Days on September 25 and November 13, and anyone interested in learning more about the program is welcome to attend.
