Zenith Workshop Coming To Florida This Week

Members Of The Lakeland Aero Club Have Been Building A Zenith CH 750 Cruzer Kit, As Well

The folks at Zenith Aircraft tell us that they will be in Florida this coming week for Sun 'n Fun’s Holiday Flying Festival (and Car Show).

In addition to the SnF festivities, they'll be hosting their very popular hands-on kit aircraft building workshop.

These events are outstanding ways to learn basic aircraft construction techniques under the watchful eyes of the experts and meet folks who are similarly inclined toward building their dream-bird.

ANN's Masako Campbell went through one of these builder events a few years ago and not only enjoyed it, she's still trying to con Jim into getting her the rest of the kit (after she built a CH-750 rudder, solo) so she can finish the job.

Who knows... it could happen.

The two-day rudder-building workshop will be held December 3rd & 4th (immediately before Sun 'n Fun's Flying Festival), at the Buehler Hangar on the Sun 'n Fun Expo campus in Lakeland, Florida (with plenty of hangar space for adequate social distancing).

Members of the Lakeland Aero Club have been building a Zenith CH 750 Cruzer kit airplane at the Buehler Hangar this past year. You can select a rudder-building experience form each of the CH-700 and 600 series aircraft... and get a start on your new aircraft.

Sun ‘n Fun’s Holiday Flying Festival and Car Show officially kicks off at 1 pm on Friday, December 4th, and runs through Saturday, December 5th. The highlight of the event includes a STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) competition on Saturday afternoon.
