New Launch Customer Announced For Marenco Swiss Helicopter

Tronrud Engineering AS Of Norway Will Operate An SH09 Aircraft

A Launch Customer contract has been signed between Marenco Swiss Helicopter and Tronrud Engineering AS for the delivery of a SKYe SH09 helicopter.

The aircraft will be used as a company aircraft and utility and logistics vehicle that will support the development of the Eggemoen Aviation and Industrial Park about 37 miles from Oslo.

The SH09 will provide needed connectivity to the region, according to the company. "The progress achieved in the past years with the engineering and assembly of two flying prototypes, and the overall maturing of MSH as a company were the factors that led to the decision of entering into a firm agreement," said Tronrud Engineering CEO Olav Tronrud.

A third prototype is due to be flying this summer.

The industrial park operates its own airport, and also benefits from direct access by both road and rail.
