AeroSports Update: SubSonex JSX-2 Makes First Flights!

When Flying For Sport And Recreation, Owning Your Own Single Place Personal Jet Has Got To Be Really Cool

Sonex aircraft announce that SubSonex Personal Jet model JSX-2 achieved its first flight and completed a successful series of initial follow-on test flights on last week.

SubSonex primary test pilot Bob Carlton said he is extremely pleased with the aircraft's performance and handling, with maneuvers including light aerobatics by the end of the day's flying last Thursday. A video of the test flight from last Thursday, which includes the aerobatics, can be found on the Sonex Aircraft website.

The SubSonex design team will be working to collect and analyze flight data in-order to finalize published performance numbers for the new jet. Documenting the performance is the last step remaining before SubSonex Kit reservation deposit holders are given their opportunity to place firm orders for 2014 kit production!
