ACI Europe & EASA Workshop For Aerodromes Planned

Will Be Held June 14 At Frankfurt Airport In Germany

Few measures have proven more effective than the collection and analysis of data for building safety in aviation. Occurrence reporting is a key component for collecting safety data and European Regulation 376/2014 sets out the principles that apply in the European Union.

But what should be reported to competent authorities and in how much detail? How is the data used? Who has access to it? And how does it find its way into State Safety Plans or EASA safety promotion and rulemaking activities?

A one-day workshop on 'Occurrence Reporting Explained - sharing best practices' organized by ACI Europe and EASA and hosted by Fraport AG will shed light on these questions. The workshop will be held at the Fraport forum on June 14.
Check out the map here and follow these directions to reach Fraport forum:

Practitioners from airport operators and ground handlers are invited to share their experiences and queries with their peers, competent authorities and the European Aviation Safety Agency. The number of places are limited to 80, so seats will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

The one-day forum will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. local time, and conclude a 5:00 p.m. Participation is free of charge but registration is needed.
