Another Wright Flyer Nears Completion

EAA Teams Up With Dakota Territory Air Museum

As aviation enthusiasts from around the world focus on the upcoming Centennial of Flight, volunteers in Minot (ND) are putting the finishing touches on their replica of the 1903 Wright Flyer.

Volunteers at the Dakota Territory Air Museum and EAA members, working in tandem, are building the aircraft as an exhibit for the Museum.

Another replica is being built in the air museum in Fargo. The number of replicas now under construction, at this point, is getting to be pretty impressive... which begs one to consider what a picture it might make to get several of these things in the air at the same time for the formation picture to end all formation pictures...

Boggles the mind, no?
