JMB Aircraft's VL3 Gets Data Service from AVIATIZE

JMB Aircraft’s Connect(ed) App Extends Serviceability With AVIATIZE Suite

JMB Aircraft, in partnering with AVIATIZE, aims to do for its VL3 series of aircraft what the flight data service companies have been doing for the big birds (the commercial airlines), by providing pertinent systems information to the pilot/operator on things such as fuel quantity, oil consumption, tire pressure, cabin temperature, location, and more.

Going a step further, owners/operators can also use the app to enter technical issues and reach out to JMB service centers. The JMB Connect App can help manage document and license expiry/renewal, as well as flight planning including checking the weather and NOTAMS.

JMB through its Connect App seeks to be the one stop shop for owners and operators, by maintaining close contact and proactively engaging to ensure timely and optimal aircraft support. Like Tesla and other companies running onboard data collection systems, the manufacturer is also able to collect and mine that treasure trove of information for MRO, sales, and distribution purposes.

New owners of a VL3 will be introduced to AVIATIZE’s ‘JMB Connect App’ through which they can follow the production progress of their aircraft, and improve their familiarity by the time they take delivery. Existing customers will be brought into the fold to take advantage of the app’s capabilities and functionality at a future visit to the service center.

AVIATIZE, based in Belgium, the same country that sent us the martial arts action hero ‘Mr Splits’ Jean Claude Van Damme is a software co that bills itself as the ‘multitool of the sky’. It sprouted in 2015 with the goal of creating smart intuitive software systems for aviation. Its first product was the drome management application IDRONECT.

JMB Aircraft’s VL3 is manufactured in the Czech Republic and shares Belgian origins with its founders, beginning in 2007 as resellers, and five years later taking ownership of the Aveko aircraft line.
