Embraer Delivers 1,100th ERJ 145

Historic Landmark Is Set By A Legacy 600 Executive Jet

Embraer delivered the 1,100th aircraft of the ERJ 145 jet family last week in São José dos Campos, Brazil. The airplane is a Legacy 600 executive jet, a model which has reached over 160 deliveries to 25 countries, since entering service in 2002.

Looks Beyond The Shuttle Program

Aero-Linx: EAA Chapter 1288's NIMBY Page Sadly, at a great many airports throughout the country, a small (but invariably disproportionately vocal) portion of society believes that moving next to an active airport that's been in place and operational for decades gives them the "right" to dictate how the facility operates, or demand that it be shut down. Not once in recorded human history has an airport just popped up out of the ground in the middle of the night in a subdivision, yet to hear a NIMBY tell it, they "never expected" to hear aircraft operating despite living a mile off the end of a runway!
