Zenair Offers The ‘Two Week Wonder’ Program

Zenair Now Offers A Factory Assist Program That Allows Builders To Complete Their Cruzer 750 In 2 Weeks

Building on the experience of building many “One Week Wonder” airplanes at Sun ‘n Fun and Oshkosh, Zenair Ltd. is offering the quick-build experience to amateur builders of the CH 750 Cruzer.

“We know, and have shown, that Zenith kits are easy to build, and we want to allow customers to share that experience, in a supervised, equipped, factory setting, where all the tools are readily at hand, and the experts are guiding the buyers,” says Matt Heintz, Vice President of Zenair Ltd.

The Two Week Wonder program is patterned after other successful programs in the industry, such as the builder-assist Sportsman or Velocity programs, where buyers can build their airplanes with supervision and guidance from factory experts, using factory fixtures and special tools when these are more convenient than standard home-based equipment.

The airplanes will be finished to the point of engine run-up and taxi, ready to be taken home and inspected. (In the USA, the CH 750 Cruzer can be built as experimental amateur built that conforms to LSA rules, to be flown by a Sport Pilot.)

The company says Zenair's Two Week Wonder Program is all-inclusive. All that’s needed from participants is there undivided attention and participation every day, 10 hours a day, for two weeks. Zenair says that ‘hopefully’ there may have one day of relaxation after the first week.

Here’s what the builder can expect:

  • Complete an advanced airframe kit including a complete the instrument panel and pre-wired electrical systems
  • Bolt on a factory-new engine with firewall-forward kit package
  • Build and install the wings and tail sections to the fuselage
  • Finalize the installation of the controls and fuel system
  • Complete a detailed inspection of the aircraft
  • Start the engine and taxi the aircraft

Zenair will provide a fully-equipped shop with everything needed to complete the aircraft will be at your disposal. At the end of the two-week program, the aircraft will be ready to taxi, equipped with a state-of-the-art glass panel from Dynon Avionics.

Introductory price for the Two Week Wonder: $99,990.00. This includes a factory-new 100-hp Continental O-200D engine and the Dynon SkyView 10-inch touch screen with COM, intercom and transponder.

Full details of terms and conditions of sale are set forth in the Purchase Agreement.
