Purchases Adjacent Hangar To Facilitate Increased MRO Working
Capacity And Aircraft Storage
Winner Aviation has purchased a recently-constructed neighboring
hangar at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport. The 14,500 square
foot building provides Winner an additional 12,000 square feet of
hangar space and 2,500 square feet of office space.
Don Taylor, Winner Aviation's General Manager and VP /
Operations says the additional hangar space is needed for their
growing operation. "Before the purchase of this hangar, Winner had
approximately 70,000 square feet of hangar and office space, but
with the growth we're experiencing in our MRO, Charter and Aircraft
Management business, this will provide our customers the necessary
space to safely store their aircraft along with our Part 135
Charter aircraft."
The full service FBO operates a Charter Department, Aircraft
Management, and Maintenance Repair Organization at the
Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Vienna, Ohio. The facility is
made up of jet, turbine, and piston service centers along with an
avionics repair and installation shop, an engine repair and
overhaul shop, and a full service parts department.
Winner has Factory Authorized Service Center status with Twin
Commander Aircraft, Mitsubishi MU-2, Cessna Multi-Engine and
Piston, Cessna Caravan and Diamond Aircraft. It is also a Honeywell
331 Major Service Center and is FAA approved to complete 331
overhauls, and the staff includes Pratt & Whitney and Hawker
Beechcraft factory trained technicians.
