Upgraded: AOPA's Gary Crump

AOPA Director Of Medical Certification Reappointed To Prestigious Medical Board

AOPA Director of Medical Certification Services Gary Crump has been reelected to serve on the Civil Aviation Medical Association (CAMA) Board of Directors. Crump's continued affiliation with CAMA assures that AOPA is working at the forefront, side-by-side with aerospace medical specialists, to develop and advocate safe yet progressive pilot medical certification policy.

Crump has been with AOPA for more than 15 years. He and his staff of medical certification specialists work closely with the FAA Aerospace Medical Certification Division in Oklahoma City and with the FAA Office of Aerospace Medicine in Washington, D.C.

This working relationship assures that AOPA members receive accurate and up-to-date information about their medical questions.

The 46-year-old CAMA represents almost one thousand U.S. and international aerospace medicine specialists and aviation medical examiners and advocates the promotion of civil aviation safety through ongoing aviation medical examiner education.
