AD NUMBER: 2007-09-08

SUBJECT: Airworthiness Directive 2007-09-08
SUMMARY: We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for the products listed above.

This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) issued by an aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product.

The MCAI describes the unsafe condition as: The backrest recline of pilot and copilot seats requires the removal of a 'quick release pin' not correctly indicated in the AFM and not ready detectable by the passengers. Moreover the operation of removal the device is difficult. This cause difficulty or disables the access to the escapes of the cabin in case of emergency evacuation.

We are issuing this AD to require actions to correct the unsafe condition on these products.
