Watersports Drone Seeks Funding On Kickstarter

Waterproof UAV Includes Fishfinder, Bait Drop, Line Casting Pod

A company developing a drone targeted to people looking for a new way to fish is seeking backing on Kickstarter to fund the effort.

The AquaDrone is 100% waterproof, and equipped with a sonar fish finder, bait drop, line casting pod, camera pod & more, according to the Kickstarter page set up to solicit backing for the idea.

The company says the AquaDrone is designed specifically for fishing, water-sports, and all-environment outdoor activities. It is the only drone to offer an entire family of accessories, which means the AguaDrone platform does more than any other drone on the market. It's not just a selfie drone. They say that as the family of accessories for the aircraft grows, so does the number of uses of the UAV. It is the only drone to offer a sonar fish finder, they claim.

AguaDrone's internal components are plug & play, which means easy component replacement, less downtime, and almost no tools needed. The quick change pod accessory system allows you to easily and quickly change from one accessory to the next without the need for tools.

The goal for the campaign is $69,000. As of this writing, they have raised nearly $19,000 with only a few days to reach their goal.
