Arnoni Aviation Purchased By APPH

Arnoni Aviation Ltd., the world's largest independent Hawker parts support company, has been acquired by APPH Ltd of Runcorn, England, effective January 1, 2006.

APPH provides specialty aviation services, which include complete hydraulic solutions for the aerospace industry, landing gear systems, actuation systems, hydraulic assemblies, filters, and other repair/overhaul services. To better fit under this service-oriented umbrella, the official company name will be changed to Arnoni Aviation Services Inc, also effective January 1, 2006.

Arnoni and its management view the acquisition as an extremely positive strategic move for the company for several reasons. Becoming part of a large family of aviation specific companies provides resources and synergies that will allow Arnoni to expand and provide unprecedented support in the Hawker (HS125) market. The development will also provide increased capital for new projects and product lines as well as enhanced supply contacts in the UK and U.S.

Aside from the slight name change to Arnoni Aviation Services Inc and integration with the global presence of APPH, management and service philosophies will remain intact. Founder Yoel Arnoni, will continue as president, as will vice president-general manager, Ted Ingram and the rest of the Arnoni management team.

"We see this as a very positive step for the future, not only for the company but for our customers, who only stand to benefit from increased resources and global reach. Our dedication to service and our ability to provide parts solutions will only get stronger," said Yoel Arnoni, President, Arnoni Aviation Services.

"APPH is delighted by the recent purchase of Arnoni Aviation Ltd. Their focus on providing Hawker parts support with an emphasis on service and solutions, fits our over-all philosophy of providing products and services that continuously exceed customer expectations. Together, we will explore ways to expand and improve our services," said David Haslam, Managing Director, APPH.

APPH is part of the BBA Group PLC, and provides specialist services for the design, development, manufacture and assembly of equipment for the aerospace market including, landing gear, hydraulic and filtration systems for commercial, military and corporate aviation. APPH group also contains companies that specialize in precision machining and match grinding.

BBA Group a UK public limited company has its headquarters in London, England, and has an annual turnover of 1.5 billion, with a significant presence in both North America and Europe. The company has two divisions, BBA Aviation Services and BBA Materials Technology, which develops and manufactures nonwoven materials. Since 1990, Arnoni Aviation has been involved in the manufacture, overhaul and repair of components for the 125 series Hawker Aircraft. Arnoni is an FAA approved Certified Repair Station (CRS# Y8AR872N) that has been accredited under FAA Advisory Circular 0056A for parts quality.
