OurPLANE Selects ElectronicFlight Solutions For Training

Software To Be Used In Fractional Line

OurPLANE, the fractional ownership company for general aviation pilots, has selected the ElectronicFlight Solutions’ CompleteLearning avionics training software for its pilots. This multimedia avionics training program will allow the OurPLANE fractional owner to become proficient with the installed avionics before beginning the hands-on training.

Partners in OurPLANE’s Cirrus aircraft will receive ElectronicFlight’s Garmin GPS training module with the S-TEC 55X Autopilot, WX-500 Stormscope and Skywatch Traffic Awareness modules.

Owners of OurPLANE’s other aircraft will receive avionics training packages tailored the specific avionics installed in each aircraft. Current fractional owners will also benefit with discounted training packages from ElectronicFlight Solutions. OurPLANE currently has fifteen new aircraft in operation at eight different locations across North America. The company features the Cessna 182 Skylane and the Cirrus SR20/22 aircraft, but they also offer the Raytheon Bonanza A36, Baron 58, and the King Air C90B. OurPLANE will continue its expansion in 2004 to add an additional ten aircraft and two new locations in Texas and Florida.

The CompleteLearning Software Library includes Autopilot, GPS, Traffic, Terrain and Weather Awareness technologies from leading manufacturers including Honeywell-Bendix/King, Garmin, L-3 (Goodrich), S-TEC, Avidyne and others.
