Diamond Aircraft Adds Philippines Distributor

Airflite Subsidiary to Provide Sales and Support for Pacific Region

Austrian manufacturer Diamond has announced the addition of Airflite's Asian subsidiary as their official sales distributor in the Philippines.

Airflite Asia came to fruition in 2009 when its parent company sought to expand on its then-current business in the region. Their addition to the local business ecosystem addressed some gaps in the aviation fabric, according to their history. Airflite Asia now offers virtually everything the area needs under its large umbrella, which includes FBOs, aircraft sales, customer service, tech support, and maintenance. Their addition for local Diamond customers provides strong support for sales and service in the region, always good news not just for local owners but those just passing through as well. Diamond is often a hot commodity in the GA sphere, being distinctively modern and sleek, but still quite tractable for training and private usage. Airflite's introduction as the go-to for all things Diamond in the Phillipines is a feather in the cap for such a young company.

"Airflite is delighted to be appointed as the official Diamond Aircraft representative for the Philippines," said Joachim Hartmann, Airflite's VP of aircraft sales for Asia. "We see the Philippines as being a very important market for the Diamond Aircraft product range."

"Diamond Aircraft is an extremely progressive and innovative company with a product range that is ideally suited to the market," Joachim elaborated. "Diamond Aircraft provides cost effective solutions for flight training, business aviation and special missions."

“We are excited to work with Airflite now also for the Philippine market in addition to the Indonesian market and to continue to grow the Diamond fleet worldwide,” Jane Wang, sales director of Diamond Aircraft Austria.
