Epic Flight Academy Takes Delivery Of Frasca FTDs

Cessna 172, Piper Seminole Devices Added To The School's Offerings

Epic Flight Academy, New Smyrna Beach, FL has taken delivery of two Frasca Flight Training Devices (FTDs). The FTDs include a TruFlite PA44 Seminole and upgrades to their TruFlite Cessna 172 FTD. The 172 FTD will feature TruVision visual system with 220 degree wraparound visual display sytem, while the Seminole will feature a Single Channel visual system, iPad interface, Garmin GNS430W GPS and Frasca's TruFeel control loading system.

"We have had an incredible, long standing relationship with Frasca and are proud to add to our growing campus the PA-44 TruFlite FTD. Currently Epic Flight Academy utilizes two C172 with G-1000 Frasca Mentors and a C172 TruFlite with the 220 degree wrap around screen. We are excited about the acquisition of this multi engine sim to provide our students with cost effective training focused on safety and establishing our student's skills before they attempt flights in the aircraft.

"The increased reliability and accuracy of the FTD compared to the ATD allows us to conduct significantly more training towards the FAA course minimums than previously allowed. Thus, the addition of the PA-44 TruFlite FTD will allow Epic to expand its current EASA and FAA curriculum." stated Bianca Beck, Director of Admissions, Epic Flight Academy.
