One Flying Test Article, Two Static Display Aircraft To Be Featured At The Show
Russian's United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will present its advanced commercial, military and transport aviation products during the International Aviation and Space salon MAKS, which will take place in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, through September 1.
"Our brand new MC-21 airliner will be revealed to attendees at the airshow: they will see one prototype in the flight test program, and two others on static display. Pilots of the Su-57 fighter will demonstrate aerobatics and first-class pilotage. This fifth generation aircraft will also be on static display," said Yury Slyusar, General Director of UAC.
The world premiere of the ?C-21 aircraft is expected to be a key event of the upcoming Salon. The three test aircraft will be shown to the public together for the first time. One of them will be fitted with a demo cabin.
The full-scale CR929 cabin and flight deck mock-up, as well as Superjet 100 with its stylish SABERLETS on static display and in flight program, are also expected to be big draws at the show.
As for the military premieres, the Su-57 fifth-generation fighter will be open for public viewing on a static display. A state contract for the supply of Su-57 fighters to the Russian Ministry of Defense was signed this June. The Mig-35 4++ generation fighter will be presented on special podium and also will take part in demo flights.
The new Il-78M-90A tanker will also debut at the show. It’s the first air tanker manufactured in Russia in the post-Soviet period. A demonstration of the Be-200 amphibious aircraft is also planned.
UAC will present a commercial market outlook with global fleets data analysis, that comprise the demand forecast for commercial aircraft and the corresponding market potential for each world region, particularly for Russia, China and India.
